Payments
Bono Auction offers the following two main payment options:
Bank Wire Transfer
- Please refer to the designated bank account information on the "Purchases and Payments" page when making payments.
- Include the correct reference number to ensure proper fund matching.
Credit Card Payment
- Accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
- A 2.95% convenience fee applies to all credit card transactions.
- Foreign currency exchange fees are the responsibility of the cardholder.
Important Reminder: We do not accept cash payments. Please only pay from the same account used to make the purchase.
Bid Deposit
- Registration Requirement: Registration is free whether bidding in person, online, or by proxy.
- Deposit Amount: Depending on bidding history, a refundable 25% bid deposit may be required.
- Deposit Processing: If paying the deposit by credit card, the amount will be immediately applied to unpaid invoices after the auction. Credit card deposit payments are also subject to the 2.95% convenience fee.
Buyer Fees
When buying items from our sale events, we charge fees to the successful bidder as specified below. Additional services requested by a buyer and offered by an auction site may be subject to additional charges determined by the auction site.
Buyer’s Commission
Buyer’s commission is based on the winning bid for that Lot. The Buyer’s commission applies to all purchases regardless of the bidding method.

Documentation Fees
Each Lot containing items that require titling or registration are subject to documentation fees, plus applicable taxes (e.g., sales tax, GST, IVA or VAT). A USD $100 documentation fee will be charged on each title transfer handled by Bono Auction.
Resale Fees for Unpaid Lots
If unpaid Lots are resold by us in accordance with the Terms of Bidding and Sale, we are entitled to deduct a commission fee, plus applicable taxes (e.g., sales tax, GST, IVA or VAT), from the sale.
Interest on Overdue Balances
Interest on overdue amounts will be paid by Purchaser at a rate of 18% per annum or at such other maximum rate as allowed by law, together with any legal or collection costs incurred by Auctioneers.
Important Transaction Terms
- Automatic Charge Clause: If full payment is not received within 7 days after auction close, automatic charges will be processed to the registered credit card with an additional 2.95% convenience fee. Any foreign currency exchange fees or charges are the responsibility of the credit card holder.
- Transaction Finality: Every item in Bono Auction is sold on an "as is, where is" basis. All sales are final and no sale shall be invalidated. There are no refunds and credit card payments cannot be reversed.
- Payment Account Requirement: Ensure payments are made from the same account used for purchase to guarantee smooth transaction processing.
